Back to School Quick Neutral Makeup

*apologies for the quality and funny faces, it's easier to take photos on a webcam*

Hello! Today's post is the make-up I usually wear on a daily basis to school. I've done it fairly simple, because we're not technically allowed to wear make-up to school and also because heavy make-up on a daily basis can be hell for your skin, and may rub off/smudge during the day.

Here are the products I used from left to right:
Collection Extreme Felt Pen Eyeliner: I only just purchased this and so far I love it. It's very easy to get a thin straight line which is all I need for school. I'm usually awful at applying eyeliner so I don't always wear it if I'm in a rush, but when I get up a little earlier it's nice to put on.

MUA Eyebrow Pencil in Blonde: I brush the side of this lightly on my brows just to define them a little. I'm not a fan of completely filled in with pencil  eyebrows, I prefer natural looking especially for school. My eyebrows are a bit of a disaster zone ever since about two years ago I thought it would be a good idea to shave around them instead of plucking. I assure you it didn't end well. *Sobs*

MUA Pressed Powder in Shade 01: I've been using this for about a year now and I can't fault it. I use this on areas of my face that get most shiny (i.e my nose, nobody wants a shiny nose) most liberally and then use a small amount on the rest of my face as to not make it look too cakey.

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Volume Flash Mascara in 001 Black: I use this after curling my lashes which works very well. I probably shouldn't but I use a fair bit of mascara, which in turn makes my eyes look even more huge, haha.

MUA Heaven and Earth Palette: I use this palette everyday, I honestly couldn't live without it. I use the second in from the bottom left for my eyebrows, which I use to fill them in partially. I find using eyeshadow makes them look less harsh and more natural. Sometimes also I use the top left colour to highlight the inner corners of my eye.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer: This is a recent purchase so I haven't actually worn it to school as of yet, but I will be. Occasionally I wear concealer with no foundation which is also good for school because it feels less heavy on your face.

Maybelline Pure BB Cream: I find using a BB cream for school saves a lot of time, I don't have to moisturise/prime etc, I can just put this on and go. I find this one is particularly long lasting and if I'm in a rush can be applied quickly and doesn't need blending in too much.

Beige/nude Eyeshadow: I'm not sure where this is from, I think it possibly came in a set from when I was younger. The colour is perfect for school, it gives a 'barely there' look but still gives a hint of colour. The eyeshadow itself is very compact, so I usually apply this with my fingers- it doesn't need to be precise.

Bourjois Blush in 74 Rose Ambre: This blush used to be my mums, but she gave it to me because she didn't use it any more. The colour is a perfect rose pink, ideal for school. I don't usually contour my cheeks for school so I use this along my cheek bone and on the apples of my cheeks as a replacement.

Benefit The Porefessional: This little beauty was tucked in the back of my base drawer for a long while, until I found it again recently and started using it again. I don't use this everyday, but when I'm having a bad skin day this is good for helping to cover blemishes and make my makeup stay put. When this had finally run out I think I'll repurchase something cheaper, but I'm very tempted to take the plunge and pay the full price of £25.

Maybelline Baby Lips Lipbalm in Intense Care: Lipbalms are essential for school, I always carry about three with me at any one time (not kidding) just in case. Because obviously I can't wear any sort of colour on my lips to school, this is a lovely substitute and my lips can at least taste good.

Hope you enjoyed this very wordy post, and are having a good week!
