Money Supermarket Worldwide Wardrobe Competition

Hello! A few days ago I was tagged/nominated by the lovely Laura from Pale Girl Reviews to take part in a competition run my Money Supermarket.com. The prize is to win one of five holidays which are listed below. All you have to do is create one or more outfits to suit the occasion chosen. You can chose from:

Full Moon Party in Thailand
Cocktails in New York
Sightseeing in Paris
Clubbing in Ibiza
Shopping in London

I chose 'Cocktails in New York', 'Sightseeing in Paris' and 'Full Moon Party in Thailand'.

shorts, top, bag - topshop, shoes - asos
TOTAL: £198
Cami tops seem to be everywhere at the moment, and this lime green one would be perfect for seeing the sights in Paris. These shoes look perfect for walking in and the bag is big enough to hold maps, bottles of water etc. It also has a strap to make walking a bit easier! I adore these shorts too, the high-waist will cover my stomach and they also go well with everything else I've selected.

Dress - Asos, Heels - Zara, Clutch - Next
TOTAL: £139.99
As soon as I saw this dress I fell in love, it's so pretty. Something like this would be perfect for 'Cocktails in New York' because it's so simple and elegant. I chose the black shoes and clutch to highlight the pop of colour in the dress, and make it stand out all the more.

Jumpsuit - Topshop, Blazer - New Look, Shoes - Asos, Clutch - American Apparel
TOTAL: £169.99
For this outfit I wanted something that will keep me warm, but at the same time not make me too hot. I love bright yellow at the moment and these shoes just screamed summer. I've also seen this jumpsuit in Topshop before and I love it, the long legs would be perfect for the evening as they would protect against mosquitoes!

London Day Out Photos and OOTD

    (looking very moody..)
    Top - Topshop, Trousers - H&M, Boots - Ebay, Sunglasses - Primark

Hello! Today me and my parents braved the bank holiday crowds and took a trip up to Central London for the day. We walked along the Southbank for a bit, sampled some gorgeous street food and drank (very overpriced) lemonade in the sun. I even curled my hair.

Finally it looks like the weather is warming up, the sun was perfect today. I thought I'd share a few photos I took with you as I'm going into my final fortnight of exams so I still won't be posting much.

Hope you're all enjoying the sun!

P.s Please take a look at my ebay items!

    Salvation

Here's a few outfits I made on polyvore, click on the photos for the links to the items! I can't wait until it warms up a bit more and I can start wearing things like this again. Exams are getting pretty intense so apologies if I'm a bit quiet for the next few weeks. Hope you're all having a good day/week!

    My dressing table/desk

A different kind of post today, I always see picutures of home decoration and drool over the gorgeous rooms. So although my desk doesn't really compare to the desks and dressing tables I see on pinterest, I thought I would do a post to show it to you anyway. I've reccently changed up my desk and threw a lot of rubbish away (or tucked it into boxes..) so I thought timing was about right.

*ignore the cringy photo booth photos, I really don't know what my hair thought it was doing that day*
the painting/drawing inside the frame is supposed to say 'keep life beautiful' but a bit got chopped off, haha

So there you have it! Most of the things on my desk are either from junk shops, carboots, charity shops or recycled but if you want to know where anything is from then don't hesitate to ask! I was originally going to upload a small room tour on the end of this post, I had all of the photos but for some reason they won't upload so that will have to wait for another occasion (my room isn't very interesting anyway..)

I will buy for us when I get back, a big Cadillac

Shorts - Forever 21, Top - Primark, Hat - H&M, Boot Lace Tie (worn as necklace) - Vintage, Boots - Ebay

Well I think it's safe to say that this post wins the award for the biggest fail of taking photos in history. I love how I'm quite literally holding onto my hat in the second picture, haha. The wind was ridiculous when taking these, but to be totally honest I cannot be bothered to go out and try again.

I would much rather do a few past papers for my Biology exam on Monday (ahem...)
Oh well, you get the idea with this outfit.

I wore this today but I wore it with my faux ChloƩ Susanna boots, a leather jacket and although the wind was covering my face a red lipstick (Rimmel London lip stain in 'timeless tango', been my favourite lip product for a while now!)

Today I went to Bluewater with my Dad which was lovely, I didn't actually buy anything but I'm torn between two pairs of jeans (pictures below, help me decide please!). I got *air quote* "scouted" for a modelling competition which (apologies to anyone that entered) is a mahoooosive scam. I know someone that did it and it cost something like £40 for one photo, and you had to pay way too much to vote etc. etc. Madness. I think its called 'Teen Queen UK' or something, so if they approach you- walk away, they'll rip you off!

First pair are Forever 21, second are Topshop (Excuse the belly button, haha)
I like the second pair, but I think they make my bum and thighs look huge? I like the first pair but I'm looking for something more baggy and high waisted... decisions decisions.

Hope you're all having a nice weekend!

    I'm not pretty, isn't it a pity

Top and Socks - Topshop, Playsuit and Hat- H&M, Boots - Ebay, Sunglasses - Primark

(Do excuse my knobbly knees and my 'I'm being blinded by the sun' expression)

THE SUN IS OUT AT LONG LAST. The sun has a way of always putting me in a good mood. This week has been pretty good, despite being ill on Thursday and having a ten hour art exam on Monday and Tuesday. I went to play tennis yesterday as part of a desperate attempt to a) flatten my stomach and b) be healthier in general. As it turns out, I am awful at tennis. But I think playing might be a regular thing, I really enjoyed it.

A few days back I ordered some things off the Internet including these boots (sadly no, they're not real) and a book called 'Spirit Walker' which is part of a series called the 'Chronicles of Ancient Darkness'. It's the second one in the series following 'Wolf Brother'. They're really good, I read them before when I was younger and thoroughly enjoyed them so I'm reading them again. If you're looking for a book to read then I recommend giving them a try, if you like adventure books set in the stone age that is.

I hope you're all having a wonderful week enjoying the sun!

p.s. Not long until my first exam, eeeeeeeep. The sooner they're over the sooner I can come back to blogging regularly. I am quite literally counting down the days.
